almost finished quilt ... top side

The capsicums are getting larger. We grew some tomatos from seeds. Hopefully they will get some cherry tomatos on them. As for the quilt.. i've finished this side and now im working on the other side...

Well it's been a year now since we got married and moved. Much has changed since pre marriage but some things have stayed the same.

My husband organized a suprise two days at a resort surrounded by desert for our anniversary. It was so nice to wake up with the sound of birds outside the window. The room was delightful. All decorated in Arab theme. It was good to spend some solid time away from everything together. I like my weeks here everyday is good. We only spend evenings together so it is different to have the freedom to sleep in together and do activities such as swimming and playing pool together.

The window garden and the new quilt for Catherine. Turned out much better than the last one. The colours I dont like as much as the previous quilt but it sits nicely together and as a whole it is much much better.
