Local attire

My husbands Aunt and Uncle are visiting at the moment. We have been going to tourist destinations around the place and eating a whole lot. I've also been trying to finish the valentines quilt.. it's only a month late at this stage.We had to be in proper attire for the mosque exploration. Fortunatly Abaya cover everything... it went straight over the top of jeans and a massive jacket. My kind of clothing.

I've been documenting a mass group of tomato plants that has self seeded near the train station.
They are so healthy and green its amazing that they have survived this long with no attention.

Valentines Anniversary quilt.

I've been working on this double sided quilt for the husband. The top side (this one is for the anniversary gift) and the other side is going to be random reds. I killed the iron, which in turn mutilated my square... and i'm beginning to dress in the same colours as im working in...

Red Quilt

I like it here. I'm watching Mash each day and completing a quilt for our anniversary present. Ok it is a little late.. but thats ok. It's going to be double sided. I followed a pattern for the top side. The backside i'm experimenting with. Each was going to be 6 inch by 6 inch squares but some have now grown a bit larger.. I needed 169 of these. You have no idea how long these take to make. All i can say is im glad i machine sew. Hand sewing would not be pleasant.

I'm really excited because i've finally got to talk to Leash and Sharon has gotten Whatsap.. It's so great to have a good friend to talk to.
