I hate finishing books. If a book is well written and the characters well developed it feels like you have just had the carpet pulled out from beneath the feet and your new friends have disappeared. Sure you don't actually feature doing anything in the book but these marvellous new friends don't move forward and do new things. Sometimes it's not about the characters its more the whole history has ended.

  1. Did you ever read Tully? Damn, every time I read that book it makes me madder. I always read it hoping she has changed - but she hasn't, doesn't, never will.

Thank you for my Christmas card. It's hanging on my window. I love it. I really wish I could see you on Boxing Day. It just won't be the same without our day together down at the beach. I love your Christmas tree, especially the star! Miss you!

  2. yes i read that book. i remember it being quite sad. I also remember you love it. I've just been reading and watching the harry potter series fanatically. everytime i get sad when i reach the end because i want more. more stories about each of the characters. more time for some of them to have a chance..anyway... ive made 3.5 quilts in 4 days... the last quilt is posing problems..
yes boxing day will be different. next year. next year hey?
id go to the beach if i was going to be here .. we are now going to lebanon so that will be great. hence the quilts.. gifts for the family.
